In order to enjoy Cusco to the fullest we suggest you to book five days of your holidays so you can carry out all the activities this magnificent city can offer you. Although some tours may take the whole day, it is important to know how to organize yourself to have a considerable amount of time for all the planned activities.
For example, we suggest that you use part of the first day to rest as you can feel dizziness, heavy limbs and even oxygen loss. These are common symptoms since Cusco is placed at almost 3.400 meters over sea level; however, they are manageable with a good rest. On this first day, you can purchase the tickets to arrive to Machu Picchu and other touristic destinations. Going to the Ollantaytambo station is a way to enjoy your experience from Cusco to Machu Picchu.
