President of Peru: The government will deploy a team to solve the problems of the Chincheros | News | ANDEAN


announced on Monday that an executive power work team will visit Chincheros province (Apurimac region) on December 10.

Likewise, the senior official called on the three levels of government to work together to solve the problems faced by this population.

The Head of State affirmed that as authorities, they must be firm in order to bring concrete solutions to their community.

In this sense, Mr. Castillo mentioned that through the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), the Government is preparing an initiation program for elected mayors, in order to guide the projects and public works of their localities.

The President added that from their formalization as mayors, it will also be expected that the Cabinet and the corresponding sectors will open their doors to each mayor, with the aim of supporting them in the work that must be done.

Likewise, he pointed out that, if the current mayors wish to have contact with any of the ministries during their stay in Lima, everything necessary will be organized so that they open their doors and listen to them.

“(…) We are going to dedicate this day to this province,” he told the participants.

At the start of this event, the Head of State welcomed the authorities to the seat of the executive and expressed the readiness of his administration to listen to their demands and the needs of their jurisdictions.

The event also saw the presence of Luis Mendieta, technocratic chief of staff at the presidency of the Republic, and legislators representing the Apurimac region.
