organized a meeting with the people of San Rafael on Friday, an event that was part of its activities in the region of San Martin, in northern Peru.

Addressing the locals, Mr. Castillo indicated that he had traveled to this region to verify the needs of this population.

“How is it possible that in a neglected city the children of our people spend years and years in prefabricated classrooms? This cannot be allowed. I have just supervised an infrastructure that houses more than 1,000 children”, he specified.

In addition, he indicated that some political sectors want to impeach, disqualify or remove him from office because “they do not like the fact that a compatriot or a farmer is in the Government Palace”.

“Now they are putting on a show paying millions of soles (Peruvian currency) for people to carry out a persecution, they are putting on their show so that my family is handcuffed and they can say to the country: ‘C ‘is the corrupt president.’ Why didn’t they handcuff those who had dropped out of education (sector)?” he said.

In addition, the senior official expressed his solidarity with the deputy of the Cambio Democrático (Democratic Change) party, Isabel Cortez, who suffered a physical attack at the seat of Parliament last Thursday.

“There are people who look down on and mistreat our working class sisters in Congress; every time they (the opponents) do that and someone asks for a sanction, there will just be a warning,” he said. said Mr. Castillo.

“But if it were the other way around, this MP, who was scorned and abused yesterday, would have already been expelled (from Parliament). We cannot allow this,” he added.
