MOSCOW, June 23 (BelTA) — A Belarus-Latin America forum will be held in Moscow at the Commercial and Cultural Complex of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia on June 28, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.
“The purpose of the forum is to present the export potential of Belarus, to establish business contacts and to exchange views on the progress and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and the countries of Latin America “, said the press service.
The event will bring together representatives of the embassies of Latin American countries based in Belarus and Russia. They are ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions and other diplomats from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, Ecuador and El Salvador.
Belarus will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Evgeny Shestakov, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko, Director of the National Center for Marketing and Price Studies Nikolai Borisevich, General Director of Belpharmprom Holding Company Sergei Kazakevich, the deputy chairman of Belneftekhim Concern Vladimir Sizov, a representative of the Ministry of Industry.
“Speakers of the forum will tell the audience about the state and prospects of relations between Belarus and Latin America, trade and economic opportunities and proposals for Latin American partners, the potential of Belarusian pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries and cooperation with industrial enterprises of Belarus,” the diplomatic mission added.
The forum was organized by the National Center for Marketing and Pricing Studies in association with the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
